CONTENT CONTRIBUTION, MODERATION & APPROVAL POLICY(COMAP)
Content needs to be contributed by the different Defence Public Sector Companies/ Service Head Quarter of Ministry of Defence in a consistent fashion to maintain uniformity and up-to-date information. In order that all contents posted on the website are
authentic, up-to-date and latest, officers/division contributing the contents must check them thoroughly for authenticity and accuracy before sending the content for updation in Srijan Defence Portal.
The general content links of the website are given below. Before sending new/revised contents for posting in the website, all nodal officers/ DPSUs/SHQs should adopt the procedure as indicated in the table below relating to content contribution, moderation and
approval. The content on the portal goes through the entire life cycle process of:
- Creation
- Modification
- Approval
- Moderation
- Publishing
Once the content is contributed it needs to be approved and moderated prior to being published on the Website. All the content received is moderated and published by web information manager after due approvals.
CONTENT ARCHIVAL POLICY
Content Archival Mechanism is in place to ensure that all outdated announcements are removed from the website or moved to the archive. This will help the website team in ensuring that the expired contents are removed from the main website.
The Archival System available on the Website will transfer the expired content to the archives section as soon as it reaches the expiry date. Archived Data will be available with a search option to search data between two given dates.
Note: It is the Responsibility of Publisher to put the Expiry date while contributing the Content wherever Applicable.
CONTENT REVIEW POLICY
The contents are review as and when required by the DPSUs/SHQs and the revised content is published through CMS as per COMAP (CONTENT CONTRIBUTION, MODERATION & APPROVAL POLICY)
WEBSITE SECURITY POLICY
- Website is hosted at NIC Cloud
- Website requires Security Clearance Certificate from CERT-IN empaneled auditor before hosting
- Website have been audited by CERT-IN empaneled auditor for known application level vulnerabilities before launch and all reported vulnerabilities have been fixed.
- All the development work with regard to website is done in a separate development environment.
- The content contributed through the content management system is through authenticated way and are published only after due declaration of the publisher. Any content contributed has to go through the moderation process.
Note : In case if any changes are done to website , Security Clearance Certificate is required.
CONTINGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN
The presence of the website and its functioning at all times is very much important. It is expected of the Government websites to deliver information and services on a 24X7 basis. Hence, all efforts should be
made by DPIT/Indigenization Division in consultation with the concerned NIC Cloud team to minimize the downtime of the website as far as possible. In case of any defacement and data corruption, quick action needs to be taken by the respective authorized personnel for the same.
